These matte glazed tiles are brand name
American Olean
These tiles are 4-1/4 inches by 4-1/4 inches by 5/16" thickness
Using my digital calipers tiles measure 4.30" wide on the self-spacing lugs and .31" thick
Tile measure 4.27 wide on the square edge.
These tiles
were made in the1960's - 1980's
These tiles have self-spacing lugs; little bumps on the edges that separate the tiles for grouting.
Using a vintage American Olean color chart:
