    Description

    This is an  antique  Art Nouveau border tile  set in a hand-crafted quartersawn white oak frame.  I have been wanting to use the old fuming method of staining white oak and this is my second finished frame. Used 29% ammonia for 24 hrs and sealed the wood with a dark walnut lacquer which gives the frame a rich dark Stickley mission style finish. The grain really pops. The frame is 7 tall by 11 1/2" wide and the tile is 3" x 6". There's a wall hanger mounted on the back. Please take a look at the other frames, framed tiles and oak wall shelves I am offering.
